Start your exotic trip to Dharamshala by boarding the Tempo Traveler from the Delhi Tempo Traveler pick-up point (Guests are requested to report at the scheduled time, & the pickup location will be mentioned on your provided ticket). Overnight journey will be by Volvo. Dharamshala has everything for a perfect holiday: tranquil waterfalls, out-stretched tea gardens, a cricket stadium for sports lovers, the holiness of the Dalai Lama, and a peaceful environment to lounge around in.
Reach Dharamshala, where our representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel (check-in time will be as per hotel policy, and early check-in will be subject to availability and extra cost). After fresh up, proceed to cover the McLeodganj and Tsuglagkhang complexes. It is the official residence of the 14th Dalai Lama, which also hosts the Namgyal Gompa, a Tibet museum, a library, a cafe, and a souvenir shop. Experience the serenity in the adopted home town of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. Other interesting places to cover in Dharamshala will be Bhagsu Nag Temple & Waterfall, St. John Church, War Memorial, Cricket Stadium, and the local market. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
After breakfast, proceed to cover Chamunda Devi Temple. The name is derived from Chanda and Munda, which were the two Rakshasa killed by mighty Devi. Later, have some fun in Gopalpur Zoo and also laze out in Palampur Tea Gardens. In the evening, come back to Dharamshala and overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel & enjoy your day trip to Kangra Valley (30 km from Dharamshala). On the way, cover Kangra Museum and Mata Shri Bajreshwari Devi Mandir. Our trip will continue to Kangra Fort, a fort where one can spot evidence of battles fought among Indian rulers, Mughals, and British colonies. Later, return to Dharamshala to catch your Tempo Traveler and return back to Delhi.
